I really can't believe this......my baby is one years old.....how sad and happy i am! I know I am a little late since her b-day was August 8th. but better late than never i guess. We decided to do a pool party since Aspen is our little water baby! She loves the water and since my in laws have a pool and it's 100+ degrees what better way to celebrate such a beautiful baby girl! What would I do with out my friend Staci? She made the cutest little invites! I also got to send a birthday announcement to family in TN. They turned out so cute! My family sure enjoyed them! Thanks Staci for all your hard work they were perfect! We invited a couple of her little friends and we all just ate, swam, gifts and just celebrated the life of miss Aspen! I just love her! She got some really cute gifts and she loves all her new toys! It was so much fun to plan and throw her first of many birthday parties! I made her a darling little CD of her first year, and hopefully I can figure out how to download it so all can enjoy it. She was so funny with her cake at first she just ate the icing a bit and then she had tie die all over her face from all the frosting colors mixed! For her cake I actually made a cake that looked like a swimming pool. It wasn't professional by no means but I had fun making it. I tried to do a flip flop cake for her but that cake was a flop and I ended up throwing it down the disposal!! Sad but I will never be a cake decorator lol! I love you Aspen and I have had the greatest year of my life with you! You have blessed us so much! Happy Birthday my baby girl you are my sunshine!!
